PURPOSE

Enhance relations between citizens and police through in-person citizen and police interaction. Use dialogue as a means to enhance familiarity and avoid community tensions.

GOAL

Through workshops and conversations, inform, persuade, and actuate communities into improved police/community partnerships. To reduce misunderstandings and acts of violence and sustain community-police relationships.

VISION

Troopers Once, LLC, endeavors to enhance relations between citizens and police through direct, in-person interaction and open dialogue. Our goal is to foster familiarity, prevent community tensions, and ultimately reduce misunderstandings and acts of violence.

The workshops and conversations are led by former troopers and other certified police trainers. We provide community organizations with "The Talk," our lectures designed to improve community-police partnerships for both youth and adults. A well as interactive video simulations of real world police and citizen scenarios. 

A key component is inviting law enforcement (troopers, deputies, and police officers) to participate, transforming what could be a monologue into a dialogue. Given that traffic stops are a common point of contact between citizens and police, we focus on how individuals can maximize safety for themselves and officers during these interactions.

Our team is passionate about excellence, training, and personal protection. Having experienced both sides of the badge and lived in metropolitan and rural communities, we offer unique perspectives on building safer communities. By working together, we can find answers to many questions regarding personal responsibility and safety.  We look forward to collaborating with you. Change starts with a conversation.
